Top 10 Tuesday - Books on my Fall TBR

Hello beautiful readers! OK SO, I never finish any TBRs I’ve ever made for myself so this time around I’m going to like, aim really low. I have 10 books listed but I’m only really promising to read two. This is so that I can pleasantly surprise myself when I exceed my very low expectations. Horray me!

Two Books I Really Need to Read

Le first two books:

Chemistry by CL LynchTitle: Chemistry (Stella Blunt Book 1)
Author: CL Lynch
Series: Stella Blunt
Publisher: One Tall Tree
Links: Goodreads | Amazon
Summary:
Stella Blunt is a loser at her new school, and the only one who kind of likes her is this weird guy named Howard, who stares at her too much and keeps on telling her how beautiful she is. A hilarious parody of Twilight.
Unforgiving by Adnan AlisicTitle: Unforgiving
Author: Adnan Alisic
Series: Unforgiving Trilogy
Publisher: AA Publishing
Links: Goodreads | Amazon
Summary:
I’m not quite sure tbh except that there’s this 15-year old dude who commits murders? So ya.

The 8 Other Books

  • Wondrous by Travis Riddle (Goodreads) – I received a copy of this book by the author! The story is about Miles, a kid who wakes up in a magical world and whose memories trigger certain magical abilities. I have to remember to post the review on January 17.
  • Unnatural Deeds by Cyn Balog (Goodreads | Amazon) – Social outcast Victoria meets Z and starts lying to everyone so she could know his secrets. Then someone is killed. Chaos ensues. Also Victoria has a boyfriend in there somewhere.
  • Four Kings by MD Elster (Goodreads | Amazon) – It’s a noir murder mystery set in NEW ORLEANS 1945 OMG A MURDER MYSTERY HISTORICAL FICTION NOVEL SIGN ME UP
  • The Blue Moon Narthex by N.J. Donner (Goodreads | Amazon) – Because of the growing greed in the world, Karmic Matter couldn’t keep up and now good and evil forces are unbalanced. Enter a 13 year old to save the day. Also it takes place in WWI which means HORRAY ANOTHER FANTASY HISTORICAL FICTION NOVEL!!
  • Nevernight by Jay Kristoff (Goodreads | Amazon | Book Depository) – Some dude narrates the story of this dead assassin girl. Technically I do need to finish this by mid-December because I’m in a GR book discussion group for this!
  • Queen Bees & Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman (Goodreads | Amazon | Book Depository) – The parent’s guidebook that Mean Girls was based on and as a huge Mean Girls fan I can’t believe I haven’t read this yet?? That is SO not fetch!
  • Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (Goodreads | Amazon | Book Depository) – Third book in The Raven Cycle series. Blue is in too deep with her friendship with the boys now, and their problems are now her problems, and then some. It’s hard writing a summary without spoiling the first two books, can you tell?
  • The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan (Goodreads | Amazon | Book Depository) – All you need to know is that Rick Riordan is a comedic genius and that this is all about Norse Mythology, the wickedest, most metal kind of mythology.

What is Top Ten Tuesday?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme originally from the bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish. Every Tuesday of each week, book bloggers post their respective lists to share with their readers and co-bloggers.

Haha yeah I would assume it’d be way different from the movie being non-fiction and all but I’m still curious! Definitely also good to read this if you have a kid then, no harm in starting early! 🙂
